To ensure a proper fit of your bra, you need to find out your correct bra size. It is surprising that a number of women do not know how to buy a bra that fits them. The easiest way to find out your bra size is just go to a lingerie shop and ask for help in the measurements. However, some women do not feel comfortable doing this so here's a way to find out and not guestimate yourself based on presumptions.
Get a measuring tape and measure the area right beneath your bust line around the ribs. Write this number down as this is the band size. Next, we want to find out the cup size. Measure the width across the peak of your breasts. From this number, subtract the band measurement. Each inch of difference will be a cup size. For example, if the difference is 4 inches, then it is a D cup; 3 inches is a C cup and so on.
